Meet RITA; RITA stands for Reminiscence Interactive Therapy Activities and is an all-in-one touch screen solution which offers digital reminiscence therapy which is a relatively new tool in the fields of nursing and healthcare; it encompasses the use of a user-friendly interactive tablet to blend entertainment with therapy and to assist patients (particularly with memory impairments) in recalling and sharing events from their past through watching news reports of significant historical events, listening to war-time speeches, playing games, browsing the internet, my life stories, viewing old maps and photographs and making video calls.
RITA is used in over 800 care facilities across the UK and we are pleased to now offer RITA LITE which caters for individuals in their own homes and carers in the community. This version of RITA has the same user interface as RITA Pro with the majority of the content, however it does not include licensed content such as Films, TV and Music due to licensing restrictions.
RITA LITE includes all the activities content and the ability to use Skype, Zoom, MS Teams, Spotify, Netflix, iPlayer and other internet-based services. Furthermore, RITA Lite includes the person-centred content which will allow family members and carers to produce life collages, know your carer, life books, activity planners, daily activities etc.
